How it works
- You say what you avoid. Single ingredients, or whole groups such as fragrance or parabens.
- You give us an ingredient list. A photo of the label, a barcode, or pasted text.
- We compare the two, name by name. Fixed rules, no guessing: the same list always gives the same result.
- You see why. Every flag names the ingredient, the item on your list, and how they are connected.
The four results
- No conflicts found
None of your avoid-list items were found in the list as read.
- Caution
Something related, a catch-all word such as "parfum", a name that looks like one of yours, or a part of the list that could not be read.
- Conflict
An ingredient on your avoid list is in the list, under its own name, another name, or as a member of a group you avoid.
- Unknown
There was no list to check, or too little of it could be read.
