Affiliate disclosure and independence
Last updated: October 3, 2026
In short: some links to retailers earn us a commission. That never changes what a check tells you.
Paid links
MyAllergyCheck may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through certain retailer links. This does not increase the price you pay. Where a link can earn a commission, we mark it as a paid link beside the link.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Amazon links open Amazon in your browser only when you press them. Amazon, not MyAllergyCheck, sells and delivers what you buy there, and Amazon does not endorse MyAllergyCheck or any result it shows.
Our independence
Money never changes a result. Affiliate commissions, brands, retailers and advertisers do not change, and cannot pay to change:
- ingredient information;
- the result of a check (No conflicts found, Caution, Conflict or Unknown);
- which ingredients are flagged, or why;
- which warnings are shown, or in what order.
Nobody can pay to have a Conflict removed or a product shown as a better fit for you. The rules that compare ingredients with your avoid list are ours alone.
The product list
Products appear in our product list because of how their makers market them, such as fragrance free, unscented or for sensitive skin. They are candidates to look at, not recommendations. We have not verified their current formulas, a listing is not a statement that a product is right for you, and whether a product earns a commission does not decide whether it is listed.
The products have not been checked against your avoid list, because we do not hold their ingredient lists. Check the label of the product in your hand before you use it, and use the checker on that label.
No advertising from your information
We do not show advertising based on your avoid list, your history or anything else in your account, and we do not give that information to advertisers, brands or retailers. See the Privacy policy.
